CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION OF STUDENTS TO VARIOUS COURSES

PROCEEDURE

     Application forms duly filled in must reach the Principals of Kendriya Sanskrit Vidyapeethas and affiliated institutions concerned latest by 31st July and before 15th August with late fee. Attested copies of the following Certificate should accompany the application:
 


Certificate of the last examination passed (Provisional Certificate in the absence of regular one).


Certificate in support of date of birth (Certificate of Secondary or equivalent examination in which the date of birth is mentioned).
Character Certificate from the Head of the educational institution last attended.
Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
Migration Certificate for Acharya and Shiksha- Shastri.
Mark Sheets of the previous examinations passed.
Certificate of Games & Sports and other extracurricular activities.



In case of S.C. / S. T. Candidate, an affidavit in the prescribed form along with the certificate of S.C./ S. T. Category from the competent authority like District Magistrate / City Magistrate / Sub – Divisional Magistrate / Tehsildar.


In case of a physically Handicapped / Blind candidate a Certificate from the Chief Medical Officer of a Civil Hospital.


In case of children /widows of Armed Forces personnel disabled / deceased – a Certificate from Secretary, Soldiers /Sailors / Air Men’s Board.
Employer’s Certificate, if the candidate is in service.


Medical Fitness certificates from a Gazzetted Medical Officer or R. M. P. (for seeking admission in Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha - Acharya course).

     The originals of the Certificates and documents should be produced at the time of interview for scrutiny and verifications.

     In complete, incorrect and late applications shall not be considered for admission.

     Migration certificates should be submitted at the time of admission. In special circumstances, the Principal may grant permission to submit the migration Certificate latest by 31st December of the year of admission, failing which the admission of the student concerned shall be cancelled without notice.

     A student shall have to pay the required fees at the time of admission.

     Admission shall be in the first year of a course. The principal shall satisfy himself that the student possesses the required knowledge of Sanskrit for pursuing a particular course of study.

     The principal may, depending on the local conditions and other exigencies, relax a particular rule, under intimation to H. Q. Office.
 


ADMISSION AND OTHER FEES

     The following fees will be charged from the students admitted to the Kendriya Sanskrit Vidyapeethas and affiliated institutions annually: -

Admission Fee
For Prathama to Uttara Madhyama and Prak – Shastri Rs. 2.00
For Shastri, Shastri Bridge Course, Acharya, Shiksha Shastri Rs. 5.00
For Vidya Varidhi Rs. 10.00
Identity Card (Except for Prathama) Rs. 5.00
Magazine Fee Rs. 15.00 
Games Fee Rs. 15.00
Extra curricular activities fee Rs. 15.00
Library Caution Money (Refundable)
Prathama & Purva – Madhyama  Rs. 20.00
Uttara – Madhyama & Prak Shastri Rs. 80.00



FOR SHIKSHA SHASTRI ONLY

     In addition to the above, the Shiksha – Shastri students shall have to pay the following charges towards the student’s funds: -
Scouting, camps & group photo Rs. 50.00
Medical and First aid to the students Rs. 30.00
Practical Note Books and Miscellaneous items Rs. 70.00

     Provided that the Academic Council of the Sansthan shall be empowered to modify the fee structure at any time.

     No refund (except the Library deposit) shall be made to a student who the college after taking admission.
